i should just freaking hell go and die.
cannot find a bloody job.
stay at home mum nag. go out mum also nag. what the hell she wants? and now she is not talking to me.
it is not my fault that i cant get a job. i tried to apply as many as possible trying to make myself useful to them. apply to the websites waiyue recommends me. but no one contact me.
i also dont wish for this to happen. i am also freaking miserable that such a thing happen.
why does it seem that noone understands me?
why does everyone say that i am busy in love and didnt do the job search properly?
am i too fussy in my job search? i just dont want sales-related jobs. is it that difficult to find?
why cant the right job just land in front of me?
why cant i just get a freaking job and start work?
i am sick and tired of all this.

had my first driving lesson today!!! with uncle james introduced by kailin. thanks kailin! =) oh man, i guess i am so freaking scared that i held too tight to the steering wheel. guess i shoud relax a little more. and i stepped on the oil (accelerator) a bit too hard. haha. lol. there is even a rating guide at the end of the lesson.
and guess what? it is only my first lesson and i am already on the road. how cool is that? lol. perhaps a danger to the others. lol. was driving a little slow, at about 20km/hr but i think it is pretty steady. didnt realise that there is no need to constantly press the clutch. haha. and my legs are tired from trying to hold the clutch in position. and there is also no need for stepping on the oil for keeping the car moving. amazing. i tot we have to press oil all the time. :X i sound so sua ku. lol.
went to watch harry potter and the order of phoenix today with eugene, darrell and huiping. it was nice. though i expected more from the end. well, i shan't be a spoiler and said what's not good about it. but as a harry potter fan, there may be some disappointment in watching this movie, though i believed that this should be the best that it can be acted from this book - harry potter and the order of pheonix. anyway,i am so looking forward to the last book - harry potter and the deadly harrows which is coming out soon on 21st july. but i suppose i will wait til december where there is always christmas sale to get it. hehe. cheapo is like that de. lol.
anyway,it is a rather bad day as i had a rather huge disagreement with eugene. but luckily,we managed to talk things through. all thanks to his patience with me. and we should be doing fine. :)

went for an interview with bank of new york for a position i long applied for. i remembered i applied for it on the day before the MSM paper. lol. but anyway, was glad that i was actually shortlisted for the position. had a pretty hard time getting there as it was at clarke quay, near shell house.
had two very nice people to interview me. one of them is mr greg edwards, whose slang i had a little difficulty listening to especially when he speaks very fast. and the other is ms michelle yong. she is a pretty nice lady. and this was my first time to be interviewed by 2 person at one go. but luckily both of them are pretty patient with me.
they slowly explained the jobscope in details to me as it wasnt clearly stated in the jobscope of which i had applied for. it is a permanent job,a desk-bound position which is quite similiar to operations. quite a nice environment to work in as everyone including the 2 interviewers who were the team head of their team could see just what everyone is doing. and it seems to be a great place to grow.
however i am not too sure about the salary as this would be determined by the HR people and i have yet to meet them. perhaps if i am selected for the next interview round, i will get to meet them. there are other applicants they have to meet as well.
went to watch fantastic four the silver surfer with eugene after the interview at marina square as it is the only place that continue to air the show. it is so freaking long ago show and we are so freaking "outdated". lol. but nevertheless it is nice show which i like and i am sure eugene also likes it too. =)

met guirong and yeeling at bedok interchange for dinner. after which we took 32 to katong and met kaijing and lena who had katong laksa for their dinner. while they were having their dinner kailin came. after that, we waited for huixin before we headed to the settlers' cafe nearby.
there are 7 of us, guirong, yeeling, lena, kaijing, kailin, huixin and me. meiqun couldnt join us as she had gastric flu and she was the one who suggested it i think. we played quite a number of games. and i have tried to list down all the games we played and the ways we played them. =) i think we were rather troublesome there. lol. i lost my battery and we accidentally spilled the water.
saboteur: there are 2 different kinds of players: the miners who are supposed to find the gold and the saboteurs who are supposed to stop the miners to find the gold. each turn we can either build a tunnel, stop another person from building the tunnel, free a person, use the special cards or discard any one card from our hand and we will be drawing one card to replace that card. so we'll be holding only 5 cards at any one time.
there are 4 types of cards, the block card, unblock card, special cards as well as the route cards. the first type i mentioned is the block cards which is used to stop other people from building the routes until they free themselves or another person free them - so let's say if you are the miners, you would want to use this card to stop the saboteurs (which can be seen from how they build the routes) from blocking ur path. however as we do not know each others positions, there is also a likelihood that you will be blocking your team mates. the other kind of card is the unblock cards which can be used to free your team-mates or anyone on the table. the third kind of card is special cards. there is one kind of which you are allowed to take a peek at the 3 different ending points to find out if it is the gold or not. then you can choose to either lie or tell the truth. and there is another kind of card which is used to destroy routes which are already made. so if you are the saboteurs, you may try to destroy routes which will help the miners to get to the gold mine. and likewise the miners will destroy any of the dead ends which leads to no more buildig of routes to the goldmine. and finally, the last kind of card is the tunnel routes cards which have many different kinds of routes for us to build the tunnel. everyone is free to build the tunnels unless they are blocked by the others.
so the game will end if the miners managed to find the goldmine of which the miners win. or if the miners didnt managed to find the mines and there are already 7x5 tunnel cards are made or if there are no more reasonable routes which can be made, then the saboteurs win.
quite a fun game i would say. i like it quite a lot. =)
jurassic jumbo: there will be a few sets of cards with different colors and numbers, just like uno. but in this case, there will be a card which is being removed and instead a wild card is placed in. so this set of cards with the card removed will never be able to form a set. and of course, all of us don't know which set it is as it is randomly removed.
anyway, the aim of the game is to complete a set first, and we do that by having open-out-cry trading - we decide who to change the cards with as well as how many to change for. however when we trade, we gotta make sure that the cards that we want to trade should have the same color codes. and so the first person who managed to complete the set will discreetly take a bone. (it is possible as the rest of us would be busy trading cards) any others who saw her doing that will also have to take a bone. hence the last person who didnt get any bone will be forfeited.
this game is pretty fun. haha. according to lena, she already completed her set and yet noone realised that there is one missing bones and the rest of us still continue trading. lol. however, we didnt really play according to the game as some of us traded cards which are of different colors which is actually much easier to get a set. haha. but it is still fun.
we had a toilet break before we played the next few games. in the mean-time, huixin and guirong played a 2-person game (i forgot what is the name of the game) which they had to use a lot of brain power. the game objective is to get as much space as possible with the different kinds of bricks we have. however, the tips of your differently-shaped bricks has to touch another in order to continue the game and the sides of the bricks of the same color (which will be either solely yours, or the opponent's) cannot touch each other. quite a brain teaser kind of game but will kill millions of brain cells.
ugly doll: it is a memory game. the cards will be messed up in a pile and each of us has a turn to open the cards. then if there are any 3 cards of the same kind, we gotta snatched it and shout ugly doll. lol. most of the time, the few of us will grab one piece each. so actually the game will continue for quite some time as these cards will be turned over and messed up again. and so we have to sort of start all over to find the 3 cards of the same kind. and lucky me always managed to find the 3 cards peacefully, without anyone else snatching for it. lol
taboo: this game is something like charade, just that we are supposed to describe the word, without sayin any of the 5 forbidden words on the list. quite tricky but fun as well. but sometimes the brain just registered the word, forgetting the 5 forbidden words and no choice, and so we got to go on to the card. quite fun and every one of us had a try.
kill doctor lucky: this is one of the more complicated game we had played. quite a challenging game as well especially suitable for a game of 7 people like us. however this game is pretty confusing. it is the opposite of cluedo, whereby instead of finding the murderer, we are supposed to kill this doctor.
there are 3 different kinds of cards: the failure cards, murder card as well as the movement cards. the failure card is used to stop another person to kill doctor lucky so you can have the chance to kill him yourself. the murder card is used to kill doctor lucky with the amount of stabs of which the greater the number, the better since there are limited amount of failures cards. lastly, the move cards can "teleport" either you to a place (which can be where doctor lucky is) or doctor lucky to a place (most likely where you will be) or simply just move doctor lucky or yourself a few steps (mainly will be to get close to killing him) depending on the nature of the card.
and of course the main objective of the game is to kill doctor lucky without anyone seeing you, meaning you can not be killing doctor lucky in front of any other players (aka no other players should be in the same room as you when you kill doctor lucky) and doctor lucky also moves a step after every turn. for us, we can choose to either use the cards on our hand after we move a step or draw 2 cards before ending our turn.
a challenging game which sets you to strategise but this is not the kind of game that we will like to play since it is also quite time-consuming. and so we move on to the next game.
wild game of moos meows and more: this is another memory game. first of all, each of us choose an animal. i choose snake. and then we got to think of the sounds of the animals we choose. for me, i make the "S" hissing sound. and all of us had a turn to make the sound of our animals after which the animals are hidden in the house. all of us are distributed a pile of cards and all of us had to open one card each time and call out the animal of the owner whose card is the same character as us. the cards are such a way that it is also animal. so there will be a tendency that we call out the animal of the card instead of the animal of the original animal the owner has. it is something like old maid, just that we have to call out the opposition's animal which is hidden behind the house.
pit: the last game we played as it is something pretty short. like heart attack we are supposed to open trade cards. and the first person to complete a set will shout pit and the rest of us will have to quickly put our hands together on the middle of the table, waiting for the first person to complete the cards to hit using a small little hammer, which actually hurts. alot.
all of us, i supposed had enjoyed playing at the settler's cafe. i really did enjoyed myself very much. and i guess all of us played pretty wildly. haha. hopefully, there will be another time i will go there again. looking forward to playing the interesing boardgames soon. shall we go again next week? lol
p/s: i miss playing mahjong. when can i play again??
p/p/s: will add photos soon after kailin send to us. =)

just finished 2 interviews this week.
tue: interview with Ms Li Woon from barclays plc. a pretty young lady who is leading a team - global wealth group. this job is mainly calling up customers, mainly corporate customers (FIs) regarding the settlements of their trade. more of phone banking. the pay is 2k+500 allowance (i am not too sure if it is considered 2.5k) a rather good place to start to know about the operations of the bank.
by the way, janice was also applying for the same position. (and she was offered. i guess i didnt got it cos i wanted to wait for the reply from HSBC. hopefully,i will get offered by HSBC. otherwise,i gotta start searching once more. haiz)
thur: interview with HSBC. the 2nd interview with Ms Karen Chua. She is a pretty nice lady. the environment there sounds good and the benefits i think aren't too bad. they are goin on bantam trip too i think in sept. wow~ haha. and since it is a internship prog, most likely the pay will be market rate (according to her) and i will learn a lot of things from them, which is also good and beneficial for me. there are also leadership courses for me to attend and daily day-to-day stuff to learn. i suppose it will be a good learning experience if i am able to work there. there are about 9 teams there from 6-7 people per team. and i will have a mentor who will guide me along the way. that is if i am selected for the internship.
but i still gotta wait for them to reply. hope to get a reply asap so i can start work soon. =)
p/s: eugene going for his first interview at citibank tomorrow at tampines. hereby wishing him all the best. =) jiayou!

Your Dream Wedding Quiz -- What's Your Bridal Style?
Now that you've answered some telling questions about your preferences, it's time to discover which Element rules your wedding style! Regardless of what your Sun Sign is, you most likely display an assortment of energies based on how the four astrological Elements fall in your birth chart. Most people feel the influence of one or two Elements in their lives; figuring out which ones rules over your personality can help explain why you must have an extravagant Cinderella-style wedding or casual barbecue-on-the-beach celebration! Remember, it's your day, so make your wedding fantasies come to life!
Note: Scores are rounded to one decimal place and therefore may not total 100%
You scored 30.8% Warm-hearted Water
You've been dreaming of your wedding day since you were a little girl, and you probably have notebooks full of sketches of your perfect wedding gown! Your wedding day is the most romantic day of your life, and you want it to be a magical, fairy-tale experience. Because you probably have some Water Signs in your birth chart (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces), you view your wedding in dreamy, emotional terms. Make sure to invest in a good waterproof mascara! Family is very important to you, so you'll probably go out of your way to include them in your wedding preparations. To create the intimate, loving ambiance that's so important to you, incorporate special family traditions into your ceremony, whether that means wearing your mother's veil, having both families light a unity candle or serving the same wine that your grandparents had at their wedding. Who says fairy tales can't come true?
You scored 30.8% Elegant Earth
Since you most likely favor cashmere sweaters, little black dresses and diamond stud earrings, it's not surprising that your dream wedding is a classy, timeless affair. Hollywood brides who get married in teeny bikinis leave you cold; elegant style icons such as Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and Jackie Kennedy inspire you. Given your affinity for tradition, you probably have some Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn in your birth chart. Although you have a penchant for rich flavors, luxurious fabrics and designer labels, you splurge only on things of lasting value and high quality. Your guests appreciate your meticulous attention to detail -- little touches such as artfully arranged welcome baskets, organized pre- and post-wedding activities and thoughtful wedding favors ensure a seamless, well-executed celebration that everyone will remember for years to come. A bonus: When you and your husband look at your wedding photos twenty years down the line, you'll be glad you didn't succumb to trendy hairstyles and fashions!
You scored 23.1% Refreshing Air
As someone with Air Energy in your birth chart (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius), you eschew tradition and favor putting your own unique mark on your wedding. Your wedding day isn't about the details -- you couldn?t care less if the icing on your wedding cake matches the color of the napkins -- but about the love you are celebrating. You don't have a specific vision of how the day will look, but you know that you want the event to be relaxed and casual. Expressing your personality is important to you; whether it's having your brother and best male friends serve as your "bridesmaids," writing your own vows and choosing your favorite poems to be read or giving your bouquet to the longest-married couple in lieu of the traditional toss to the single women, you show that you aren't afraid to be yourself. Your innovative wedding is sure to be memorable, and may even start some new trends!
You scored 15.4% Fun-loving Fire
In your mind, your wedding day is the one time that you can be truly self-indulgent without feeling guilty -- after all, the whole day is really about you! As someone who most likely has some Fire Signs in her chart (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius), you crave attention and excitement, so it's perfectly natural that you fantasize about the "oohs" and "ahhs" that your guests will utter as you glide down the aisle, looking the most gorgeous and happy that you've ever looked. However, you are just as focused on making sure that everyone has a great time, as well. Your generous nature inspires you to go the extra mile for your guests, whether it's making sure there's a vegan meal for your cousin or bringing some small trinkets to amuse and relax the nervous flower girl. So wear that revealing gown and make a long-winded toast to your groom -- the spotlight is all yours, and you've earned it!
