it is the eve of eve of christmas..
though there is no more financial intermediation (FI) on friday which had been rescheduled on saturday (sian,saturday still had to go school),i still had to go on school coz there is investment management.. and so sharon and i took bus together to school.. and so qiao,eugene and dominic also took the same bus (151) as us.. as in at different stops.. haha..
then got presents from dominic,sharon and xiaojia.. thanks a lot..
and i didnt get them anything.. feel a bit bad.. coz initially planning to give chocolates.. but in the end,the chocolates are finished by me and my brother.. :X hehe..
anyway, after lecture, we (comprising of sharon, eugene, huilin, cliff, dominic and shou zi) had a pre-christmas dinner and we took 75 to marina square.. which was quite a long journey from school.. but we took it to save the hassle of changing buses or trains.. hehe.. ate at carl junior (though the burgers are not at all JUNIOR) and so huilin and i shared one of the burger set.. have a great laugh with this group of friends though i may be the targetted joker at times..
initially,we were planning to go KTV.. but then huilin felt that it was quite a waste of money for her since she doesnt sing.. and it is pretty expensive on a friday night.. then we decided to watch curse of the golden flower.. but huilin had already watch it on the day of preview with her boyfriends and so we had to change our plans again.. we planned to watch night of the museum but eugene was unwilling to watch as the thriller makes it seem a bit kiddish.. and so in the end,we decided not to watch any movie as cliff felt that watching movie is not a good get-together session.. hence, we walked to the esplanade instead..
luckily it wasnt raining.. there was a band performance.. i forgot the band name.. but the music wasnt good.. according to sharon.. but i like the songs they played.. :) took quite a number of pictures.. but they are all gone coz my camera died on me.. :( sad..
after that,there was one of staff asked us to write our wishes on a silver leave like card and hang it on the "christmas tree" which look like bell to me.. haha.. "world peace" is what sharon wrote.. and being very sweet, cliff wrote "may all our wishes come true".. eugene wrote something very cheem.. i dun remember.. i think i wrote something like "may there be happiness".. something like that.. coz i wasnt feeling very happy these few days.. but i guess to everyone happiness is as important as anything else... or at least i feel this way.. it is not something that can be bought..
lucky us were not caught in the rain as it started just as we headed into the shelter.. was thinking of going somewhere to sit down and chat.. and hence we walked around citylink and finally stopped at gelare for some waffles and ice-cream.. indulged ourselves (huilin and i) with dark chocolate ice-cream and waffles.. hehe.. yumyum.. and cliff also ate the smaller waffles with 2 scoops of ice-cream.. (i forgot what flavors though) and the rest were just lookin at the passerbys looking for pretty and tall girls.. haha.. quite a lot of tall girls but sad to say,i only saw a few pretty girls.. in fact,eugene felt that there are more pretty girls in SIM than at citylink at that point of time.. perhaps all the pretty girls went clubbing.. haha..
anyway,had fun with the whole group and hope there are more group outings like today!!!
