job hunting!!!

first,huixin headed to tampines kelly services at tampines.. and while waiting,simin and kailin called me about a job lobang.. woah.. haha.. so efficient.. simin told me about the admin at changi and got a shutter bus at bedok that fetched us there.. some data entry thingy.. quite cool.. i called but noone answered.. and then kailin one was the starhub one..

anyway,the stuff at tampines kelly service seemed pretty friendly.. or at least the one who interviewed us was friendly.. gives me the impression that they are nice and are willing to help us look for jobs..=) perhaps it is just part of their job as well.. but can feel their sincerity..

then we headed to orchard to the adecco headquarter and adecco (events/roadshows).. met ting the one who interviewed us aka my senior (yeah,she graduated from SIM-RMIT one.. haha.. ) and yup,adecoo bugis had shifted to orchard at shaw house there.. had a hard time looking for that place was asked why didnt we go there earlier to look for jobs,then perhaps we would be in time for the it roadshow in expo..

but there is another roadshow coming out.. so hopefully when september comes, we will be called and asked to go down to work.. i wanna work and study at the same time.. earning own pocket money.. and i dun think i will be taking up any more tuition.. at least for jobs,we can still reject but for tuition,there is an obligation you gotta teach.. haha.. that is what i think la.. furthermore,our exams clashed at almost the same time.. so i dun like,when i having exams i sure kan cheong.. so wont be able to teach well..

then also went to recruit express.. my most fearful place.. remember the other time i went to recruit express with kailin, lena and waiyue.. i got no job,no phonecalls at all..totally no calls at all.. luckily kailin's mum introduced me into metta student care to work.. if not i will be idling my life away for almost half a year!! well,i worked for almost 8 months there wor.. haha.. quite surprising hor? from dec 22 to aug 3rd.. i think.. haha.. other people already did so many other lines,i still in the same line (so who say i job-hopper huh?? haha..) but anyway,this time round,the person seems more friendly.. and there is lesser competitors.. haha.. as in most people had jobs already and so our chances of getting called is higher!! haha..

after that we headed to tanjong pagar there to eat the peanut ice kachang proudly recommended by lena and lor mee.. but too bad the lor mee store was not open and so we ate duck rice also one of the yummy king recommendations.. hehe.. not bad.. quite nice in fact..and the peanut ice-kachang was cool.. the ice just melt in your mouth.. like M&M chocolate!! haha.. nice.. go there and try the ice kachang,k??

then we headed to the prudential there for interview for telemarketer.. however,in this case,we were to ask people to come down for job interviews..and for every recommendations that were agreed as in they do come down and listen to certain talk,we earn a commission of forty i think.. i not very sure.. but it was a rather good job,just that we are not suitable for it.. there was only 5 spaces and yet there are more than 20 people going for the interview.. and by the way,we saw christine and angeline there.. so qiao~ think they also going for the interview ba.. haha..

then i received phone call from kelly services!! woah~ that was fast!! and i got a job at loyang crescent there!! some aerospace company and i accepted it!! $6/hr,free transportation to and fro but tomorrow i gotta head down on my own.. but quite reasonable ba.. since there is transportation..

after that we went to chinatown there to find the starhub job.. and after much search,we finally found the place and went through the interview.. all of us passed through the interview as the person called us down the next day.. but i cant make it.. so too bad loh.. think i gotta give up that..

anyway,i hope that adecco will give me starhub related lobang since starhub is a big client of theirs.. hopefully those roadshows IT fairs etc.. should be quite fun ba.. hehe..

anyway,met janice to go and find alan and xiaojia who are working at the IT fair.. hehe.. see them like all very shagged and tired.. and heard that sales that day wasnt good..coz it was only the first day.. haha.. then went to eat.. had satay only coz i will be heading home for dinner.. but ended up not eating dinner as my mum had already cleared the dishes.. haha.. good la.. eat less better.. haha
