went to watch dodgeball today with lena huixin and kaijing..haha..quite funny..but felt cheated..coz perhaps our expectations was a bit too high..so..slightly disappointed..haha.. coz diana told us that it was so fabulous that lena and kaijing dragged me along..haha..hmm,i myself also quite tempted to watch la..but $8.50 was a bit too expensive for a 100 min show..perhaps they should start charging according to the number of minutes of the show..was actually thinking of goin into another theatre to watch another movie..but hai~~lena was rushing off for tuition..and left me,huixin and kaijing only..haha...

was munching potato chips the entire movie..must have gain at least half a kilo..just hope that i won't end up as white..haha..he became a fat fat man in the end,munching on all the titbits he had resisted eating for the past few years while he was the gym instructor..haha..

Peter LaFleur (Vince Vaughn) is a charismatic underachievers and proprietor of a rundown gym called Average Joe's. The facility's eclectic clientele of decidedly less-than-average Joes is comprised of: a self-styled pirate,Steve the Pirate(Alan Tudyk); a scrawny nerd who dreams of impressing an unattainable cheerleader,Justin(Justin Long) ; an obsessive aficionado of obscure sports,Gordon(Stephen root); a dim-witted young man,Owen (Joel David Moore); and a cocky know-it-all who, of course, really knows nothing,Dwight (Chris Williams). Peter's humble gym catches the eye of White Goodman (Ben Stiller), the power-mullet-sporting, Fu-Manchu-d, egomaniacal owner of Globo Gym, a gleaming monolith of fitness. White intends to take over Average Joe's, and Peter's non-existent bookkeeping is making it all too easy for him. A foreclosing bank has stationed attorney Kate Veatch (Christine Taylor) inside Average Joe's to finalize Globo's takeover of the gym. But Peter's boyish charms win her over and Kate joins his team of social rejects to beat the odds--and their own ineptitude--to try to save Average Joe's. Their solution? To enter the dodgeball championship coming up in Las Vegas, with a grand prize of $50,000, just enough to keep Globo Gym from taking control of Average Joe's. Forming their team, along with a former dodgeball champ turned drunken coach (Rip Torn), Peter's 'Average Joes' squad heads to Sin City to compete, finding White and his 'Purple Cobras' there to try and stand in his way.

hmm,i think the most funny part is the cheerleading one..haha..coz Justin was very skinny and not as popular,so i guess during the audition,he was paired up with a super-duper big-sized lady..imagine having to carry her up and throwing her in the air and then catching her again..it seems mission impossible but he managed to hold her up..which i think was reallie strong of him to do so..amazing..haha..hmm,she landed on him..with the skirt on his face,almost suffocating him..imagine how bad it was..haha..in the end,Justin managed to get hold of both cheerleading as well as the girl he liked..And most importantly,he fare well in the game dodgeball..Haha..

hmm,yeah...a happy ending for the average joe's gym..Ha..quite expected although there is a twist here and there..everyone in the cinema was happy that the story ended happily and white in a sad state..rather sudden for the gym coach to just leave..like that in the gamling den,being hit by some stupid advertisement board.. didn't expect Peter (or issit Pete) to accept White's money..And bet it on their team and in fact they won thousands and thousands..And thus they could even took over globo gym..Haha..cool...And Peter was with Kate,Justin with Amber,the girl he likes in charlatans..he managed to took over Derek(he injured himself and fall down from the roller coster,as cursed by someone in the average joe's team..Haha..) for cheerleading..but not sure if they won..Steve the pirate finally managed to think through things and stop imaging that he is a pirate..he cut his hair..so cool..Ha..Dwight had loads of girls to accompany him..not sure what problem he had at first..:P then Owen found his true love as the opponent team Fran,the ugly girl in the other team,Globo Gym,"Purple Cobra" team i think..just realised that the lady who acted as the ugly female in the globo gym,was actually a beauty...Haha..i show you guys her picture..compare with the pic on top..it is reallie her..woah~~the power of make-up...Haha..
